# Deploy the TikTok SDK

> Choose a hosting environment where the TikTok SDK runs reliably.

Run the SDK on a VPS or another long-running server.

> [!WARNING]

> The SDK runs into IP restrictions and blocks on most serverless hosts, so only a few platforms work reliably.

* **Vercel:** a bad fit.
* **Render:** only works if you run the SDK in a service that stays up as a real web process.
* **VPS or dedicated server:** recommended.

If you hit throttling in production, add [proxies](https://traceryn.online/tiktok-sdk/proxies.md). For endpoints blocked from datacenter IPs, use a [Playwright session](https://traceryn.online/tiktok-sdk/playwright-sessions.md).
