# Search

> Search Pinterest pins, boards, users, and videos with Pinto, with pagination and streaming.

Search returns a real paginated feed, unlike board and user widgets, so it supports cursors and streaming.

## Search pins

```ts theme={null}
const pins = await pinto.searchPins("cats", { pageSize: 25 });
```

## Scoped search

Set `scope` to `pins` (default), `boards`, `users`, or `videos`.

```ts theme={null}
const boards = await pinto.search("home decor", { scope: "boards" });
const users = await pinto.search("design", { scope: "users" });
const videos = await pinto.search("recipe", { scope: "videos" });
```

## Paginate manually

Pass the `cursor` from the previous page.

```ts theme={null}
const page2 = await pinto.search("cats", {
  pageSize: 25,
  cursor: pins.cursor,
});
```

## Stream every result

`searchAll` is an async generator that walks every page for you.

```ts theme={null}
for await (const pin of pinto.searchAll("cats", "pins", 25)) {
  console.log(pin.id, pin.image);
}
```

`pageSize` defaults to `25` and accepts up to `100`. See [Configuration](https://traceryn.online/pinto/configuration.md).
